Fraud Security Program
Fraud can come from a number of places including security breaches at retailers, deceitful sales reps, or cards being accidentally left behind in public places. Once someone starts putting fraudulent activity on your card, it can be stressful to say the least to get everything straightened out and your funds restored. To help Family First has implemented a VISA debit and credit card security program. This program reviews your spending patterns and uses experience scoring to identify potentially fraudulent transactions. If there is a questionable transaction the security group will attempt to contact you directly. If unsuccessful, they will leave a message that includes the telephone number 800.889.5280 and a case number for you to reference in a return call. The group will ask for two pieces of identifying information – usually your name and the last four digits of your social security number– to verify your identity. If they are unsuccessful in contacting you, there may be instances where your card is blocked for your protection if the suspicious behavior continues. If you have any questions, please contact member services.
