All Family First Branches and the Call Center will be closed on Monday, February 16 for Presidents Day.

2026 Family First Credit Union College Scholarship Program

Family First Credit Union is offering three $2,000 college scholarships! This year’s theme is “F.I.R.S.T. – Family. Integrity. Relationships. Service. Trust,” which represents the core values of Family First. Applicants are asked to choose one value and explain its significance in their daily life and future.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be a Family First member in good standing (account must be in the applicant’s name)
  • Currently enrolled as a high school senior at the time of application
  • Plans to attend an accredited college, university, or trade school during the 2026-2027 academic year

Selection Process
Scholarship recipients will be selected based on:

  1. Academic performance
  2. Community involvement
  3. Extracurricular activities
  4. Essay responses 

Application Process
Complete the scholarship application in full. Additional pages for essay responses should be attached to the application. Applicants will receive a score of zero for any incomplete sections of this application.

Please include the following documentation with your completed application:

    1. 2 written recommendations (one academic, one personal)
    2. Official copy of the student’s high school transcript
    3. An official copy of the student’s SAT and/or ACT scores – please do not send the original (optional)

Applications must be postmarked by March 12, 2026 (if mailed), or received in one of our branches or electronically no later than Saturday, March 14, 2026. Family First employees and their immediate family members are not eligible. 

Scholarship winners will be notified on or before April 10, 2026.
