Have you been referred by a friend or family member? Getting started is easy! Simply click the button below to start your digital application. When asked how you heard about Family First, select “Refer-A-Friend Program.” You’ll then be prompted to give the name and phone number of the current Family First member that referred you. Once you’ve completed your application, a representative will reach out to finalize your new account. That’s it!

Existing Members
When your friend or family member opens their new account at Family First, they’ll be asked to provide the name of their referrer. When the account has been opened successfully, you’ll receive a confirmation email letting you know your referral has been processed. Then you can just sit back and relax! Once the new account has been open for 60 days, $50 will be deposited into your account. Refer up to 5 new members to receive a total of $250.
New Members
1. Open an Account Bundle

2. Enroll in eStatements
Once your account has been successfully opened, visit our website and under Member Login, select New User and complete the online banking registration form to set up online banking and enroll in eStatements.
3. Set Up Direct Deposit
Set up Direct Deposit to your new checking account totaling a minimum of $250 during the month to qualify.
4. Make 12 Debit Card Transactions
Now that your Checking account is ready to go, it’s time to start spending! Approximately 7-10 days after your account opening, you’ll receive a new Family First VISA Debit Card in the mail.

*Existing members can refer up to 5 new members, earning $50 for each, totaling a maximum of $250. $50 will be deposited into the account owner’s primary savings after the new account has remained open for 60 days. Both accounts must be open and in good standing in order to receive the bonus.
**New members will receive $100 once they open a Companion Savings account and bundle it with either a Debit Reward$ or Pinnacle checking account, enroll in eStatements, set up direct deposit (totaling a minimum of $250 monthly) into the checking account, and complete 12 debit card transactions within the first 90 days of the account opening. Both accounts must be open and in good standing in order to receive the bonus. The new member must open a Companion Savings account and bundle it with either a Debit Reward$ or Pinnacle checking account and meet the bundle requirements to qualify.
***Annual Percentage Yield (APY) is accurate as of 3/1/2025. This is a variable rate account and the interest rates and APYs may change at any time. Must meet the Debit Reward$ or Pinnacle Plu$ requirements each month to earn APY on Companion Savings account. Companion Savings account available to Debit Reward$ Checking and Pinnacle Plu$ Checking account holders only. Dividends are compounded daily and credited monthly by the 9th of the following month. To earn premium interest (see Rates page for current rates) on balances up to $10,000, requirements must be met. If the requirements are not met, the Companion Savings account rate will be the same as the current Regular Share APY on the entire balance for the month. The APY on savings account balances of $10,000.01 and above will earn the current Regular Share APY.
Any special accounts, with the exception of MyMoney accounts, are not eligible to participate in this promotion. Refer to the Member Account Agreement for the complete list of special accounts.
