We are aware that some of our Family First VISA card holders who are signed up for eStatements received a paper statement for the month of January. These members should have received their January VISA eStatements also and will not receive a paper statement fee. We’re working with our vendor to ensure this doesn’t happen in the future. We apologize for this error.

All Family First branches and the call center will be closing early at 1:00 PM on Monday, April 8 due to the full solar eclipse happening that afternoon. We hope you enjoy the eclipse!

Family First will be holding our Annual Meeting on Wednesday, March 24 at 8:30 AM at our Browncroft Office. Click this link to join us virtually through Microsoft Teams.

Youth Accounts

Building a Strong Financial Foundation

At Family First, we believe in teaching even our youngest members the basics of savings so they can grow to be financially successful adults. For all of the firsts life has to offer, from earning their first dollar to buying their first car, we’ll be here every step of the way to support your little one – even when they’re not so little anymore.

Our youth accounts are designed to teach and encourage our younger members about the advantages of saving so that they can be financially successful as they grow. By establishing checking and savings accounts, youth members receive the dual benefit of financial education, as well as prizes and incentives for making smart money choices.

Youth Account Levels

All Family First members ages under the age of 18 have the benefit of free account service. This means no relationship or paper statement fees!  With just $5, you can get your child started down the road to savings.

Open a BuildingBlocks Account!

Family First knows the importance of teaching good financial habits to our children early in life. That’s why we’ve created the BuildingBlocks account! This account makes saving fun AND rewarding for kids so that they learn the benefits of saving money at a young age.

New Account Gift – All new savers will get to take home a BuildingBlock Bank where they can collect their savings.

Savings Reward – Then, when they bring in their deposit to a Family First branch, they get to choose a toy from our prize bin! We believe in rewarding children for their successes with saving money. Plus, if they make 2 deposits of $10 or more during a month they’ll be entered into a quarterly drawing for $25!

Direct Deposit – When you set up a direct deposit to your child’s account, they’ll earn an extra $10 when the first deposit comes through!

Birthday Gift – Every youth member gets a postcard during the month of their birthday – if they bring it back to a Family First branch during their birthday month, they get a free birthday gift!

Accounts for members younger than 18 need a parent or guardian as joint owner of the account. The minor’s social security number must be provided at account opening, as well as their birth certificate OR a valid government-issued photo ID.

Open a FUNDamentals Account!

The FUNDamentals structure is a step up from BuildingBlocks – they get to take advantage of the same rewards, and then some!
