Keeping financial and personal information secure is of the utmost importance to us. Family First is committed to protecting the information of our members and all those who visit our website. As with information we collect through other means, we use the information we receive online to provide you with the best possible member service and respond to your requests. 

Google Analytics

Visitors to our web site remain anonymous, as we do not collect personal identifying information. We collect standard non-identifying information about visits to the site, such as date and time visited, IP address, city, state and country. This information is used to compile standard reports on web site use. We use Google Analytics as a tool to gather this information. Cookies

The Credit Union uses “cookies” as part of its web site interface. A “cookie” is a small file that a website places on the user’s computer. While it contains no member information, it identifies the member’s computer and allows the Credit Union to measure usage of the web site and customize the web site experience. When a cookie is used, information is encrypted for our use only. 

Secure Transmissions

When a member applies online for accounts or services, it is necessary for sensitive information to be entered. All sensitive transactions come to us over the Internet in a “secure session” using encrypted network transmissions. This protects against the loss, misuse and alteration of information.

If you provide us with personal identifying information via e-mail or application (such as name and address), the information will only be used to communicate with you or to handle your request. Member account information and/or account numbers have not and will not be sold or transferred to third parties.

The Family First App

• Location – Our app periodically collects, transmits, and uses geolocation information to enable certain features. This information is used for geofencing and beacon scanning essential for advertising/marketing campaign delivery. Members can change their location permissions at any time in their device settings.
• UserID – Pulsate  (our app marketing software company) creates a random user GUID upon initial app access, which is later used during every connection with Pulsate. This GUID is unique for each device/app and changes after every app reinstall. This ID is used for identifying a user and sending campaigns.
• Product Interaction – Pulsate tracks user’s app entry, app exit, and pages viewed within the app.
• Name – Pulsate collects user’s first name for product personalization purposes. 

MobiMoney
MobiMoney, a service Family First provides that offers card control, periodically collects, transmits, and uses geolocation information to enable features that prevent fraudulent card use and send alerts, but only if the member expressly authorizes collection of such information. Geolocation information can be monitored on a continuous basis in the background only while MobiMoney is being used or not at all, depending on the member’s selection. Members can change their location permissions at any time in their device settings.

To provide you with access to additional information, the Family First website has links to other third parties and vendors. These links are given so that members can take advantage of other products or services.

Opting Out of E-mails
Our e-mail marketing is handled through the Mailchimp e-mail service. If you want to opt out of receiving our e-mails, please do so through the link  at the bottom of the e-mail you receive. This will remove you from our e-mail list. You can also e-mail [email protected] and request to be removed.
