Day of Caring 2023

Across 6 counties, over 6,000 volunteers completed 400 projects, supporting 200 nonprofit agencies across six counties as part of the United Way’s Day of Caring 2023. For the 5th year running, the Family First team returned to Heritage Christian Services Shoecraft location to give their landscaping some much needed TLC.

Family First volunteers spent the morning weeding, pruning, mulching, and landscaping the property so that residents and employees can once again enjoy their outdoor space during the summer months. We look forward to coming back to this location to see our friends at Heritage Christian Services year after year, and love having an opportunity to give back to the community we love so much – especially when we are blessed with beautiful weather like we were this year!
