Family First Credit Union celebrated the Grand Opening of its new Member Development Office in LeRoy, NY. Community members and leaders, the Genesee Chamber of Commerce, as well as local business owners, joined the Credit Union for the ribbon-cutting event and enjoyed refreshments provided by Smokin’ Eagle BBQ in LeRoy. The event also raised money for the LCCP (LeRoy Christian Community Project) Backpack Club, a local program that provides meals and resources for students in the LeRoy community. This new space marks Family First’s expansion into Genesee County, extending the Credit Union’s services and support into the region.

Unlike existing Family First branches, the Member Development Office was not designed for processing transactions. Instead, it was created to prioritize financial guidance and overall well-being. Members can meet with Mickey Hyde, Family First’s Member Development Officer, to discuss their goals and explore the Credit Union’s catalog of products and services to find what best suits their individual needs.
Our mission has always been to put our members first,” said Tom Dambra, CEO of Family First Credit Union. “This new space is about creating meaningful conversations, finding creative financial solutions, and helping our members achieve their goals in a personalized, stress-free environment.”
The office integrates Family First’s digital banking technology, ensuring members have flexible and convenient ways to manage their finances 24/7. It also features a historic Family First timeline that highlights the Credit Union’s milestones and achievements over the past 50+ years.
