2nd Annual Super Bowl Can & Bottle Drive
Together, we CAN support local nursing students!
For the second year in a row, Family First is hosting its Super Bowl Can & Bottle Drive to provide scholarship opportunities to local nursing students. All proceeds will benefit the Daniel E. Richardson Memorial Fund of the Greece Charitable Chamber Foundation.
With football season winding to a close, many of us find ourselves with bags of bottles and cans that we have yet to take back to our local can redemption center. And with Super Bowl Sunday just around the corner, the collection is only going to continue growing!
Avoid standing in long lines at your local redemption center and give back to your community when you donate your cans and bottles! With your donation, you can help provide financial support to local nursing students within your community and local healthcare workers who have been impacted by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. So save those game-day cans and bottles and bring them to a Family First branch near you!
From February 7th – 19th, we invite all community members to drop off donations of empty (and clean) bottles and cans at any of our 5 Family First branches during regular business hours. Just leave your donations in the collection boxes conveniently located in our lobbies! On the final day of the drive, Saturday, February 19th, additional volunteers will be present at our Penfield branch to assist with large donations, before transporting them to a local redemption center.
Can’t make it to a branch? No problem! Complete the registration form below to have your donation picked up from your own front porch!
