The way an ARM works is you have a set, low fixed rate for a certain period of time, like 3, 5 or 7 years, then for the remainder of the loan the interest rate would adjust annually depending on the market. Properties that qualify for our Adjustable-Rate Mortgage are primary residences and second homes. Family First offers the intermediate 5 Year ARM which is specifically designed to meet the needs of these members.
